Thoughtful information about our process, materials, and what to expect when ordering from the house.

  • The presale offers early access to the Ashé & Heir founding collection before it is released to the general public. Quantities are limited, and select offerings—such as the Founding House Set—are available exclusively during this period.

    Presale pricing reflects early access and will adjust once the collection officially launches.

  • All candles are poured in small batches and require time to properly set and cure before shipping.

    Presale orders will begin shipping approximately 3–4 weeks after the presale closes. You will receive a shipping confirmation once your order has been prepared and is on its way.

  • Ashé & Heir is a small-batch fragrance house. We prioritize quality, performance, and consistency over mass production.

    Our candles are freshly poured in intentional batches and allowed to cure before they ever leave our studio. This curing period—typically 14 to 21 days—is essential. It allows the wax and fragrance to fully bind, resulting in a cleaner burn, stronger scent throw, and a better overall experience.

    As the house grows, what we consider “small batch” may evolve. What will not change is our standard.
    Every candle—regardless of volume—is poured, cured, and released only once it meets our in-house quality benchmarks.

    We do not pour a candle the moment an order is placed. Instead, we maintain thoughtfully prepared inventory that is released only after it has completed curing and passed quality assurance.

    Here’s how it works:

    • If inventory is already poured and fully cured when you place your order, your candle will ship promptly.

    • If inventory is freshly poured or being replenished, your order will ship once the candle has completed its curing process and passed quality assurance.

    When candles are available for immediate shipment, we’ll clearly note that in announcements or on the product page. Otherwise, shipping timelines reflect the time required to prepare your candle properly—not a delay, but a standard of care.

    This ensures that when your candle arrives, it is fully cured, ready to burn, and ready to be enjoyed—never rushed.

Orders & Presale

  • We use a coco apricot wax blend, chosen for its clean burn, smooth finish, and excellent scent throw. This wax is vegan, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and formulated to burn slower and cleaner than traditional waxes.

  • Every material used by Ashé & Heir is selected with intention—from our coco apricot wax to our natural wooden wicks and matte black ceramic vessels.

    We prioritize: clean-burning components, thoughtful sourcing and performance over mass production.

    Our candles are designed to be experienced slowly, not rushed.

  • Curing allows fragrance oils to fully bind with the wax, resulting in a more balanced scent throw and cleaner burn.

    Each candle is cured in our studio before shipping. Once your candle arrives, we recommend allowing it to rest an additional 24-48 hours before lighting for the best experience.

  • Each order includes a candle care card with detailed guidance. In general:

    • Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges each burn

    • Trim the wooden wick slightly before each use

    • Burn for no more than 3–4 hours at a time

    • Always place on a heat-safe surface

    Proper care extends the life and performance of your candle.

Candle Care & Craft

  • We currently ship within the United States. Shipping rates and delivery estimates are calculated at checkout.

  • Due to the nature of handmade candles, all sales are final.

    If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, and we will make it right.

Shipping & Returns

  • Curated Sets are intentional pairings and groupings from the house, designed to be experienced together. Each set reflects a specific mood, rhythm, or expression of Ashé & Heir.

  • The Founding House Set is a limited ceremonial offering that includes the complete founding collection and exclusive access to the House Council and The Inner House.

    Only ten Founding House Sets are available, and this offering will not be reissued.

  • No. Once all ten Founding House Sets have been claimed, this offering will close permanently.
